Who we are

Peduti Advogados is a law firm specialized in intellectual property legal services having almost 47 years of experience and tradition in the field.

Our tradition dates back to 1977 when the parents of our managing partner, Cesar Peduti Filho, founded Peduti Marcas and Patentes, an industrial property agency. In the year 2000, Cesar Peduti Filho began to operate with industrial property and since then has been developing his professional techniques, adding his experience to that of other competent professionals in providing their services.

Later, Cesar Peduti Filho became an Industrial Property Agent, certified by the INPI (Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office) and graduated in Law from FMU – Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas, becoming a Lawyer. Aiming to improve his knowledge, he sought the following specializations:

• Post-graduation in Intellectual Property Law – Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV);
• Specialization in Entertainment Law – Instituto Internacional de Ciências Sociais (IICS); and
• Specialization in Taxation of Business Related to IP and IT – Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV-SP).

Since our establishment in 2007, Peduti´s team is formed by lawyers, technicians, IP agents and engineers complying with the industry highest standards, delivering quick and efficient results with views to the ethics and the real needs of our clients in counseling, prosecution and litigation matters.

Our office is strategically located in the business and financial center of São Paulo, the biggest city in Brazil and Latin America, almost two steps from the INPI (Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office), but we have an associated network in all Brazilian states and abroad.

Our practice includes all aspects of patent, trademark, copyright, software, domain names, advertising and trade secret law including advising, counseling, prosecution, licensing and litigation.
